For more than 50 years, Motion Sensors has worked closely with customers throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, providing a broad selection of both standard and custom speed sensors.  We design and manufacture many of the speed sensors you need, including intrinsically safe (Ex ia) and explosion proof (Ex d) versions.

To meet the requirements of many applications, Motion Sensors’ intrinsically safe and explosion proof speed sensors are certified for use in both North America and Europe to:

  • CSA (with NRTL/C), ATEX (2014/34/EU)
  • IECEx (IEC 60079-0:2011)
  • IECEx (IEC 60079-11:2011)

In addition, we can design and build sensors based on input ranging from simple discussions to detailed customer drawings. We are also able to reverse engineer working samples to produce exact copies of existing speed sensors or provide an improved design solution for specific applications.
